McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release (MSTR) has been developed as a gentle and effective way to help the body deal with scars, scarring and healing.
MSTR® is used for:
Caesarian section scars
Hysterectomy scars
Spinal surgery scars
Trauma scars such as those typically found on the knee
Head wound scars
Mastectomy scars etc…
Amputation scars
Underlying scar tissue from laparoscopic surgery and in addition can be useful for the treatment of
Plantar Fasciitis
Certain cases of frozen shoulder
Sports injuries (such as quadriceps and hamstring tears)
Axillary Web Syndrome (AWS)
Underlying scar tissue from surgeries or tissue traumas
Any areas of dense fibrous tissue
The technique is quick and easy to apply and requires the scar being worked on at your own pace, in an appropriate time frame and in a way that allows you and your body to assimilate and heal as needed.
Scar work sessions are 60 mins and cost £45
non scar work sessions may be offered at 30 mins at a cost of £30 (contact for advice on which to book)
